Development, harmonization, and advocacy of national and international competency standards in food safety to ensure alignment with global best practices and regulatory frameworks.

2. Competence Certification Acceleration

Facilitating and accelerating professional certification pathways through collaboration with LSP, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to increase the number of certified food safety professionals nationwide.

3. Capacity Building

Capacity Building delivers structured professional development initiatives through technical workshops, executive seminars, industry clinics, mentoring programs, and sectoral upgrading activities designed to strengthen both technical expertise and strategic leadership capacity..

4. Professional Registration

Establishing a structured professional registry system and Continous Professional Development (CPD)  to ensure credibility, traceability, and recognition of food safety practitioners across sectors.

5. Food Safety Training Harmonization & Collaboration

Training Body Harmonization and Collaboration ensures consistent and high-quality food safety education nationwide. APKEPI harmonizes curricula with national competency standards and regulatory requirements and partners with Food Safety Training Institutions in curriculum development and co-delivery of training programs to ensure relevance, consistency, and excellence.

6. Government Support in Regulatory Process, Standardization & Conformity Assessment

Providing technical expertise and professional input to support government agencies in regulatory development, policy implementation, and conformity assessment systems.

7. Public Awareness & Food Safety Campaign

Enhancing public literacy and awareness on food safety culture through educational campaigns, industry engagement, and community programs.

8. SMEs Capacity Building

Strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through technical guidance, regulatory assistance, and structured competence based training program to improve compliance and market readiness.

9. International Collaboration

International Collaboration strengthens global partnerships to enhance food safety human resources development. APKEPI initiates cross-border cooperation and Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA) to promote international recognition, professional mobility, and alignment with global standards..
