Specific Competency Standard

Special Work Competency Standards (Standar Kompetensi Kerja Khusus) are developed to address emerging, niche, or highly specialized areas where national standards under SKKNI are not yet available. These standards provide structured competency frameworks tailored to specific industry needs, technological advancements, and regulatory developments—particularly in dynamic sectors such as food safety. Strategically, Special Work Competency Standards ensure that workforce development remains responsive, relevant, and forward-looking, bridging competency gaps while maintaining measurable and assessable performance criteria.

APKEPI plays a strategic role in initiating, developing, and validating Special Work Competency Standards within the food sector when formal SKKNI frameworks are not yet established. Through industry consultation, expert panels, and alignment with regulatory and international food safety benchmarks, APKEPI ensures that these specialized standards are credible, practical, and aligned with real operational demands. This proactive approach supports innovation, strengthens food safety capacity, and ensures the continuous advancement of competent human resources in the national food system.
